Gilead Sciences promotes their open enrollment period and provides information via a one-stop-shop digital experience for employees. The 2024 Virtual Benefits Fair aimed to remove some barriers from previous years, such as complicated interface interactions and unnecessary steps required prior to accessing information. The experience also focused on alignment to Gilead’s enterprise goal for the year in highlighting and celebrate diversity, including those with disabilities. The campaign theme, “My benefits, my story” helped connect the available benefits to real stories from Gilead employees whose lives had been impacted by them.
Analytics showed an increase in employee participation in benefits elections (rather than letting their benefits roll over), a decrease in help tickets due to a FAQ section and chatbot and positive qualitative feedback from users on their experience.
