A labor of love, this work-in-progress showcases my deep expertise in the human-centered design process—understanding users and their core needs, requirements-based iterative design, high and low-fidelity prototyping, and evaluation—while addressing a critical need for a community close to my heart. Through research, I uncovered significant barriers first responders face when seeking mental health support. This app is designed to break down those barriers by providing anonymous peer support, which is supplemented by seamless access to resources, including educational materials, mental health professionals, and a crisis hotline.
